"When I start with a blank canvas, my vision is clearly cemented in my mind. However, as I progress, I find myself increasingly uncertain about the path ahead. It is the process that is the most compelling aspect of art for me; the endless experimentation to reach my destination.

My approach is not overly intellectual; rather, it emerges from a curiosity, vulnerability, and a meditative state. As I observe the beauty and darkness inherent in people, I explore these seemingly opposing characteristics and visually weave them together through my work on canvas.

I think of my paintings as capturing a moment in someone's life. Yet, some moments feel like a lifetime, and perhaps a lifetime can be encapsulated in a single moment.

I find excitement in experimenting with layers, mixing diverse materials such as plaster, tar, asphalt, gypsum powder, sand, soil, crystals, or salts. Each material contributes its own unique texture to my work. This process is deeply gratifying as I blend these unconventional substrates with paint, coaxing the materials to interact in unexpected ways, and awaiting the revelation of my vision. By maintaining a non-attachment to the desired outcome or aesthetic, I can freely explore and evolve with each painting.

I aim to create raw, thought-provoking pieces. I hope that you, as the observer, can connect with a distant memory or concealed emotion through my art. My aspiration is for my art to offer a space for reflection, solace, and to find beauty in all imperfections and the messiness of it all."
